Real Life Mandrakes: Human Shaped Fleece Flower Roots
Mandrakes or Mandragora was popularly depicted in the Harry Potter And The Chamber of Secrets film adaptation. In the Harry Potter fictional universe, they have magical properties and otherwise fatal. Surprisingly, there is a plant that grows in Northern Asia it is called Chinese Knotweed(scientific name: Fallopia multiflora) that have human shaped roots. It is a wonder plant for Chinese men.
The fleece flower roots have many medicinal properties. Ancient Chinese herbalists discovered that it can cure or prevent baldness,impotence, and many other sexual problems including prostate cancer. Most fleece flower roots are human shaped and strangely some have phallic protrusions.
