The topic of HIV disease spreading worldwide is a sensitive one. Good thing, a lot of information are being disseminated in order to help people be more aware. But, there is still a stigma to persons with HIV that needs to be eradicated.
And to know what other people's take on HIV-Positive people, an HIV-positive man named Janne facilitated a social experiment to see if the negative stigma attached with HIV/AIDS still exists and what would people do if they partake on his social experiment.
The man from Finland stood on the street with his eyes closed and arms out next to a sign that read, “I’m HIV-positive, touch me.” Without a hint of people approaching or ignoring him, Janne takes a chance to see if people will still have that negative stigma to his medical condition.
